Our clients continue to tell us that reliability is always a given, but that our attentive, personal service is the differentiator. Our clients also tell us that Worknet provides both, and we will continue doing just that.
Worknet is also responsive to the changing IT landscape and the needs of our clients. Our heritage has been network consulting since the beginning in 1996. Seven years ago, one of our clients asked us, “Since your network engineers are driving back and forth each day, why not operate and manage my computing environment out of Worknet’s offices instead of mine?” This straightforward query gave rise to Worknet’s managed services business. We decided to build our own proprietary Tier III data center located in Naperville, IL. The success of this, in turn, has led to our recent expansion into the Indianapolis market with the addition of another highly reliable and secure Tier III data center. The rest is history, as they say.
We now support over three hundred clients, two-thirds of which are supported out of Worknet’s data centers. We have since added 24x7 help desk, on-site end-user support, and applications development. All of our efforts are aimed at better servicing our midsized clients who need access to a reliable and secure computing environment and network, experienced technical staff, and broader support coverage otherwise not available or affordable to midsized companies.
Even with all the driving change, technology upgrades, and capabilities expansion, at the end of the day we still focus solely on one thing – outstanding service. This is the one constant among continuous change in the technology industry. It is, and always will remain a people business. Because we care about people and their businesses, Worknet will continue to provide attentive, personal service and to be a single source of computing and networking needs so our clients can focus on their core businesses.
