Worknet is seeking an experienced sales individual who will use his/her technical knowledge and sales/hunter skills in selling our complete suite of IT consulting and managed services. Every day, hundreds of customers rely on Worknet’s Tier III, SAS 70-certified data centers for the infrastructure to host, manage, and support their mission-critical applications. Our service offerings cover from the desktop to the data center and include single projects to full IT outsourcing with managed network infrastructure solutions.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to;
Lead Development
§ Identify and qualify new leads through established personal professional network, cold calling, and telemarketing, named channel partners, and other sources
Proposal Generation and Delivery
§ Drive proposal development process from solution strategy discussions
§ through solution design, pricing, proposal document preparation and review;
§ as appropriate include MSA and/or Schedule(s).
Contract Preparation, Delivery and Close Deal
Effective at establishing customer need and gaining committment
§ Drive contract preparation process from strategy discussions through contract preparation and negotiations
§ Be familiar with a proposed contracts terms and conditions to answer most questions regarding contract interpretation.
§ Ensure orderly hand-off and transition to assigned Account Executive for Managed Services contracts.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS-
10 years sales experience of IT services and products preferably managed services into mid-size companies
Proven track record in identifying new leads, qualifying prospects, and closing sales to new customers
Demonstrated knowledge of solution/consultative selling including
CRM tools
Strong understanding and working knowledge of the IT infrastructure and
networking technologies
Executive level effective communication skills, written and oral
BA/BS required, MBA strongly preferred
