Network Administrator
Job Description:
Our client is seeking a highly self-motivated individual with 1-3 years of experience in administering and maintaining Windows and AS/400 servers. This position is directly responsible for:
- Maintenance and support of 11 Windows 2000/2003 servers
- Maintenance of an AS/400 server
- Maintenance and support of all corporate workstations utilizing Windows 98/2000/XP
- Maintenance and support of the Active Directory environment
- Daily monitoring and maintenance of Antivirus/Antispam systems and network security
The individual for this position must have excellent communication skills, a high level of attention to details, and the ability to interact efficiently with all levels of the organization. This is a highly diverse organization and this individual will be called upon to support additional divisions on a regular basis. Travel is limited but occasionally required within the Midwest region.
Required Educational Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree
Required Experience and Skills:
- 1-3 years of experience in administering and maintaining Windows and AS/400 servers
- Maintaining and troubleshooting Windows servers and workstations
- Maintaining AS/400 server
- Maintaining Surf Control and Symantec products
